Internship in Structural Analysis and Software Development

DESCRIPTION:

The internship consists of learning structural calculation simulation by finite elements and participating in the development of Structural Calculation software applications, developing both activities:

- Participation in the development of software applications of Structural Calculation by Finite Element Method (FEM), or Machine Learning that Idaero develops and commercializes internationally.

Learning and Application of Structural Calculation Methodology and Finite Element Software for Structural Calculation, mainly in the Aeronautical, Automotive, Wind Energy, Railway, etc. sectors.

The applications have a large mathematical component, by analyzing the structural calculation data and transforming and post-processing them by means of advanced mathematical functions, extracting images of 2D and 3D results.

They are used for calculations in aeronautics, automotive, renewable energies, biomechanics, etc.

There is also the possibility of participating in the development of a Machine Learning application oriented to help reduce defects in manufacturing.

You will program in different languages: Fortran, C++, .NET, Python, use of different SDKs.

-The people incorporated will also participate in real projects of structural calculation (aeronautical, wind, etc), being the estimated time distribution 50% to the programming of the application, and 50% to structural calculation in these sectors.

REQUIREMENTS:

Undergraduate or Master's Degree student in Aeronautical or Industrial Engineering, in the absence of TFG/TFM or TFM and some subjects.

Knowledge and interest in Structural Calculus by the Finite Element Method (FEM).

Knowledge of Programming languages and interest in developing a career in Programming and Structural Calculus.

Excellent academic record.

Very good level of English.

Aimed at intensifications:

- Aeronautics: Aircraft (AV), Space Vehicles (VE), Aerospace Propulsion (PA).

- Industrial: Mechanical Engineering, Construction

There is a high probability of being offered the opportunity to join the company staff at the end of the internship, so it is required that students have a real interest in developing their career in the activities described.
